Squads announced
Czechs & Slovaks name their squads ...

Both Slovakia and the Czech Republic have named their squads ahead of the two World Cup 2010 opening games.

The Czech team look frighteningly useful but the absence of both Tomas Rosicky and Jan Koller will be a relief to the Windsor faithful next week.

David Healy will have to get past Liverpool defender Martin Skrtel if he wants to start the 2010 World Cup qualifying campaign with a goal. Liverpool’s Martin Skrtel is the most noteable name in the Slovak squad with the noteable inclusions of West Brom’s marek Cech and ex-‘Gers fillip Sebo.

Slovakia squad: Stefan Senecky (Ankaraspor), Jan Mucha (Legia Warsaw), Martin Skrtel (Liverpool), Jan Durica (Saturn Ramenskoye), Peter Pekarik (MSK Zilina), Martin Petras (US Triestina), Marek Cech (West Bromwich Albion), Radoslav Zabavnik (Terek Groznyi), Miroslav Karhan (FSV Mainz 05), Marek Sapara (Rosenborg Trondheim), Marek Hamsik (SSC Neapol), Stanislav Sestak (VfL Bochum), Dusan Svento (Slavia Prague), Zdeno Strba (MSK Zilina), Jan Kozak (Artmedia Petrzalka), Filip Holosko (Besiktas), Marek Mintal (Nuremberg), Robert Vittek (Nuremberg), Martin Jakubko (Khimki), Filip Sebo (Valenciennes).
